It has been quite the winter so far and winter just started – winter started a month before winter starts. We had our first snows in early November and we had snow on the ground at least three times before we had our first plowable snow in early December. Since that first snow, we have had blowable/plowable snow four times and have had snow on the ground pretty much constantly since that first snow. We had one day were the temps went up to about 50 and that melted much of the snow but certainly not all of it.
It has been windy and cold with temp dipping below zero at least a couple times.
Today was a little warmer but that only caused the driveway to become a sheet of ice.
Snowblower has been working but roll pins broke after the first snow so I had to manually shovel the second snow. I fixed it for the third snow but the shear pins broke after blowing that but that was an easy fix after a quick trip to Argots for new shear pins so I had it fixed for the fourth snow. Not bad – three out of four and it is doing a pretty good job.
